With a total land area of 4,117.3 square kilometers, the Island province of Bohol is the tenth largest island in the Philippines and is situated in the center of Central Visayas. It is made up of 72 tiny islands encircling an oval-shaped mainland.

The province is a well-liked travel destination with an abundance of resorts and beaches. Its two most popular beaches are in Anda, which is on the east side of the island, and Panglao Island, which is located in the province's southwest. Bohol consists of 47 municipalities and 1 city.

PHILIPPINE TARSIER SANCTUARY

The Tarsier Sanctuary is a large forest dedicated to the protection of tarsiers, small nocturnal primates with big, round eyes that feed primarily on insects.They usually cling to low branches or the trunks of slim trees.

CHOCOLATE HILLS

The hills are located throughout the towns of Carmen, Batuan and Sagbayan and consist of about 1,776 mounds of the same general shape. During the dry season when precipitation in inadequate, the grass-covered hills turn chocolate brown, hence the name in reference to a branded confection.

BLOOD PACT SHRINE

The Blood Compact Monument is an artwork that was made to honor the first international treaty between the Philippines and Spain. The memorial stands in an area along the side of what is now known as Tagbilaran East Road in the Bool District.

HINAGDANAN CAVE

Hinagdanan Cave is a cave in the municipality of Dauis on Panglao Island, in Bohol Province, in the Philippines. It is a naturally lighted cavern with a deep lagoon and many large stalactites and stalagmites.

BACLAYON CHURCH

Baclayon Church in Bohol is a declared National Cultural Treasure and National Historic Landmark. It is one of the Philippines' oldest Catholic churches — structurally original and still with authentic materials — dating back to 1727.
